Hey there everyone, as you might be able to tell from my desktop screenshot, I've recently become a HUGE fan of the short lived series called Firefly.

When I was first informed about this series, my friend called it a "Sci-fi Western" and I'll admit I was skeptical, expecting to see some kind of laser blasting spaceship toting weird-fest set in outer space, Needless to say I was extremely wrong.
What Firefly REALLY delivers, is basically a regular western series based around some sort of new universe of moons that've been terraformed so that they support human life, using spaceships to travel between them.

The cast are extremely unique and personally I think they're awesome actors too.
The action sequences are great, doing old western movies justice, apart from some gunshot sounds that are a little too laser beam sounding for my liking.

The series also deals with a lot of classic western elements:
Train Heists
Bank Robberies
Salvage Jobs
Infiltration Missions
Defending Whorehouses
and a few more that you'll have to watch to find out.

Though I am truly, truly depressed that the series was cancelled.I seriously recommend anyone reading this should check the series out!
